Teenagers today are not aware that turning up high volume of their MP3 players could harm their hearing. Yet most said they usually played at maximum volume and had no plans to change that.
To prevent hearing loss when using Mp3 player (headphone, earphone & etc.), teenagers should not blast the volume. Parent should warn them of the risk of hearing loss. They should also look for signs of a hearing problem their children may be suffering from. MP3 player (headphone, earphone & etc.) manufactures should put an indicator to warn users when the volume used is hazardous.
